The second goal of our project will be the “European Window Interface Model”. This model will help to make it easier to export windows in other EU-Countries. Apart of the requirements of the CE-Norm, each window has to meet the building legislation of the country where it is mounted. The Inventory includes the data acquisition of window relevant building legislation in the involved countries. Buildings processes and legislation will be implemented in a common database. According to the Window design, this model should predict if the window will fit in the national building tradition of the other country and if it fulfill its national building legislation.
If one of the question will be NO, the manufacturer will get recommendations, how he could adapt his window design to meet the requirements.
